Applications are invited for the following posts in the HKBU & Infinitus Joint Laboratory for Polysaccharide Research, which is in the HKBU school of Chinese medicine:

Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) is establishing the HKBU & Infinitus Joint Laboratory for Polysaccharide Research, aimed at exploring the medicinal potential of herb polysaccharides and their applications in promoting gut and lung health. We invite passionate individuals with relevant backgrounds to join our team and collaborate in advancing research and application of herb polysaccharides.

Positions Available:

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in research on the chemistry, immune regulation function and mechanisms of action of herb polysaccharides.
  • Conduct research and development on new composite polysaccharide products.
  • Collaborate closely with industry and academic partners to translate research findings into practical applications.
  • Write research papers, reports, and grant applications.

 

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Biology, Pharmacy, Immunology, Natural Medicinal Chemistry or related fields.
  • Research experience in one of the areas including immunology, cell biology, and/or molecular biology ,chemical structure analysis and/or chemical separation and extraction is desirable;
  • Strong laboratory skills and research capabilities, with the ability to conduct independent experiments.
  • Team-oriented, with excellent communication skills and proficiency in English writing.
